Michael Pryor was invited to be a critic at SCAD’s accessory design degree program as well as give a lecture about computational design. SCAD is the only university in the world to offer an M.F.A. in accessory design and the first in the U.S. to offer an M.A. in the discipline. Overall Michael attended the critiques of 4 classes over the span of three days about fashion and accessory design. The student work included footwear, dresses, and entire conceptual collections. In the lecture Michael showed students the importance of computational design emerging in the fashion industry including the benefits to new methods of design thinking.
