Michael was invited to perform a lecture at the first MADCon held by the MAD Collective. MADCon is a live, virtual event that is co-curated by members of the MAD Collective, :scale & ARCHLOGBOOK. MadCon’s goal is to create a sense of community for architecture students that would not only provide exceptional advice, resources and some fun but events would be created and presented by some of their favourite creators from around the world! Michael did a combinatory presentation and tutorial session about optimizing your workflow by evaluating your processes to cut out redundancy by building up a tool library through the lens of Rhino + Grasshopper and his own career experiences. As someone who has successfully transitioned to multiple design fields by way of computational design, Michael has the unique experience on understanding design optimization and tool making on a broader scale of usability.
