We have seen by now how additive manufacturing can inspire designers to create shapes and forms that were impossible to make with conventional manufacturing methods. New designs are emerging not only in fashion, but also architecture. With the ever-increasing number of new 3D printing materials, such as the recently introduced Illusory materials, and techniques that allow more and more creative freedom, artists from all over the world are starting to explore the potential of AM for creative applications and aesthetic pieces.
