DesignMorphine members Kunal Chadha and Eduardo Chamorro had their work from our Robotic Inform V1.0 workshop displayed at Haimney Gallery in Barcelona, Spain. The exhibit was called "Cognitive Dissonance" which focused on the influence of experience, art, science and trade to develop our different aspects as human beings. Recent adaptation of industrial robots to architectural production has given rise to a new language of design which is numerically informed through computation. In a world where nearly everything built around us could be 3D printed, focus in the future will be on the design and performance of the by-product. Kunal and Eduardo showed furniture pieces which were large scale 3d printed with KUKA robot arms. The prints were designed and developed alongside our workshop students where they learned the process of designing for and actually 3d printing extruded furniture.
