Michael Pryor was invited by Akiyo Matsuoka to give a talk at the Fashion Institute of Technology’s School of Art and Design Fashion and Jewelry students about Computational Design. FIT is an internationally recognized college for design, fashion, art, communications, and business. In the lecture Michael showed students the importance of computational design emerging in the fashion industry including the benefits to new methods of design thinking and the ability to create complex patterns and forms not possible by traditional design methods. Michael also shared his journey from architect to computational designer through a variety of his past work and endeavors.
